CAD Geek, Photographer, Podcast Junkie
This year I decided to try my luck getting shots of fireworks up close instead of going to see one of the pro fireworks shows in town. So I walked around Kalihi for most of the night and found a couple of places that were launching aerial fireworks in the street. Overall, I’d say it was a lot more fun than dealing with the crowds in Waikiki or paying to get into one of the big NYE parties.
I last visited Haleakala a couple of years ago. This time, like the last time, it was raining on Maui but things cleared up once I got to the top of the mountain.
Too tired to write something. A very different Hallowbaloo than last year and quite an improvement too.

This was the first time I’ve done a shoot with a belly dancer. Looking forward to more fun shoots like this one in the future.
Chinese New Year in Chinatown means one thing for me now. It’s the largest performance of the year for the Hawaii Fire Artists.
